Sources we use
We prefer primary sources: councils, developers and contractors, colleges, CSCS, CITB, GOV.UK, ONS and Deloitte crane surveys. Trade press is used when there is no primary announcement. We do not use card resellers as sources for fees or addresses.
What we check
- Project names, values and contractors against the announcement page
- Test centres and course details against the provider or Pearson / CITB lists
- Card fees and rules against CSCS (or CSR in Northern Ireland)
- Internal links to our live city and trade pages
Dates on each guide
Every guide shows when it was first published and when it was last updated. Time-limited lines (for example a course intake) can fall back automatically after a set date; guide pages are regenerated at least daily so those fallbacks appear without a manual republish.

Spotted a stale fee, a closed course or a wrong address? Email hello@building-jobs.co.uk with the guide URL and the source you used. We read every message.
